The effective range for candles is about 13 feet (approximately 4 meters). Note: Not all candles support remote control; please check the product details for more information.
One remote control can control multiple candles. If the candles are grouped together, the remote control will turn them on simultaneously. If the candles are placed separately, simply point the remote control at each candle individually.
The batteries are available in four models: AG10, AG13, AA, and AAA, and are available at most battery retailers.
Make sure the candle is in the "On" position, not the "OFF" position. The remote control will not work in OFF mode. Rotate the candle to the "On" position. Point the remote control at the candle and press the "Off" button. The candle should now be off, and the remote control should be able to turn it on again.
Rotate the candle to the "Timer" position and set the desired daily lighting time. For example, if you want the candle to cycle for 4 hours starting at 6 PM every night, turn on the candle at 6 PM and press "4H". To reset the timer, turn off the candle and repeat the above steps.
Battery life depends on the quality of the batteries you purchase, your daily usage, and the candle model, but it typically exceeds 400 hours.
